Investing in the Next Generation of Leaders - We Raise Foundation

INVESTING IN THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS

For 120 years, We Raise Foundation has equipped young Christian leaders to face the greatest challenges of their time—with faith, courage, and vision. We know that investing early in emerging leaders creates a ripple effect of transformation, changing not just their lives but the communities they serve. That’s why we’re committed to supporting rising nonprofit professionals through two key initiatives: Emerging Leader Grants and the Richard E. Herman Leadership Award.

Emerging Leader Grant Program

Emerging Leader Grants equip and empower rising nonprofit professionals at Christian organizations who are leading, influencing, and driving change in their communities. These $15,000 grants are an investment in the development of an emerging leader and the program they are leading serving under-resourced communities in the United States. Of the $15,000, $10,000 is designated for the program and $5,000 is designated exclusively for the cost of leadership development opportunities for the emerging leader to be used during the grant term.

The Richard E. Herman Leadership Award

The Richard E. Herman Leadership Award recognizes the commitment and service of an emerging Christian leader between 20 and 35 years of age whose professional or volunteer efforts are helping under-resourced individuals and communities in the United States thrive. This focus is driven by an understanding that Jesus’ life, ministry, and teachings were incarnational. He lived among the people, with those on the margins of society, sharing in their suffering and pain, but also desiring and bringing about reconciliation and shalom. The honoree receives public recognition and a cash award of $4,000 from We Raise Foundation.

We work hand in hand with Christian nonprofits to help communities thrive. Take action today and raise up those in need.
