What is a We Raise Neighbor?
We Raise Neighbors are a compassionate group of monthly givers who care about breaking the cycles of poverty, violence, and inequality and seeing all communities thrive.
Monthly donors play an important role in the work of We Raise as recurring gifts allow us to better project the grants we can award in the coming year. We Raise is a fundraising foundation, which means our grant programs are funded through the generous support of our donors.
No matter what amount, by becoming a Neighbor, you are committing to breaking the cycles of poverty, violence, and inequality in communities across the country.
WHY should I become a We Raise Neighbor?
We know you care about vulnerable communities, and becoming a We Raise Neighbor is a testament to your commitment to breaking the cycles that hinder our neighbors.
For YOU, becoming a We Raise Neighbor comes with the knowledge that you are making a real and lasting difference in the lives of others through job skills training, educational opportunities, mentors, and more. You’ll also see firsthand how innovative leaders and bold organizations are responding to needs in ways that are changing their neighborhoods and communities now and for generations to come. For US, We Raise Neighbors’ monthly giving provides consistent, predictable support that is used to fund our grant programs. Through We Raise grants, we not only provide funding to vital programs, but also development resources that increase the sustainability and longevity of these programs. Basically, the support of We Raise Neighbors enables us to better serve and invest in our partners, and we are so thankful for this community and their faithfulness.
How are leaders and organizations selected to receive funding?
We Raise grants are awarded to Christian leaders and nonprofits organizations that who are breaking the cycles of poverty, violence, and inequality in their communities.
Organizations submit proposals to either our GrantsPlus grant program or our Emerging Leader grant programs.
How do I change or cancel my reoccurring donation?

Can I recommend an organization to receive We Raise support?
If you know an organization or leader that would be a good fit for a We Raise Grant, please encourage them to visit the We Raise website at weraise.org/grant-info.
