People free from poverty, violence, and inequality.
Called by Christ to serve others, We Raise Foundation partners with Christian organizations to support and develop sustainable programs that help people thrive.
We Raise Foundation employs a unique approach to non-profit investing by offering comprehensive assessments, crowdfunding, and research in addition to grants. With a strategic approach to assisting our partners with resource development, We Raise leverages donor funding and multiplies its impact in pursuit of sustainability for the organizations we serve.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Galatians 5:1a
For more than 100 years, we have heeded the call to love thy neighbor as a deep response and manifestation of God’s love and grace for us shown in Jesus Christ. As we have been released from our bondage to sin, we work in Christ’s name to loosen the bonds of systemic social sin that prevent people from hearing and responding to God’s call to new life.
We support, encourage, and collaborate with ministries that advance freedom in Christ and hope for the future. In a specific way, we are committed to support organizations that offer solutions within the areas of education, workforce development, and criminal justice.
We believe we are called by Christ to serve others.
We believe we must be in close relationship to the communities we serve and those who support us.
We believe in a standard of excellence at building fundraising capacity and partnerships.
We believe in taking risks and imagining new futures.
We believe we are a stronger organization when we engage a diverse network of individuals and communities.
We believe equity in a quality educational experience provides the greatest opportunity to achieve stability and success. We seek to support Christian schools, before and after school care, and tutoring programs for children in kindergarten through eighth grade who come from low-income households.
We believe a robust, qualified workforce is central to building healthy individuals, families, and communities. We seek to support programs serving low-income women and men who desire the education, skills, and training required to acquire living wage employment to support themselves and their families.
We believe effective justice requires consequences for those who break the law, but often this results in a lifelong impact, ensuring the same behaviors. We support programs that interrupt this cycle and give hope for a brighter future.
