Social Media Policy
Social Media Policy
We Raise Foundation greatly values the variety of people engaged in our work and will continually pursue social media practices and policies that are uplifting, encouraging, and edifying. We Raise Foundation’s activity on social media platforms will be guided at all times by our mission.
Mission: Called by Christ to serve others, We Raise Foundation partners with Christian organizations to support and develop sustainable programs that help people thrive.
Motivated by the belief that freedom is grace in action, We Raise Foundation partners with Christian organizations to raise consciousness, community leadership, and capital. Our vision is people free from poverty, violence, and inequality and this is achieved through our three priority granting areas: education, workforce development, and criminal justice.
We Raise uses social media platforms as an extension of our commitment to raising consciousness, community leadership and capital in support of innovative ideas, people, and programs. Through our use of social media, we hope to share content that provides encouragement, shares insight, and promotes thoughtful dialogue (both online and offline). We are committed to facilitating an informed, safe, and thoughtful place for our network to learn, share, and discuss.
To that end, We Raise reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to edit, hide, or remove any comments, content, or users that we believe are not in keeping with these intentions.
We Raise understands that in any healthy discussion there will be varying viewpoints and opinions. Users are welcome to share their comments and questions. Those who choose to engage with any We Raise digital content are expected to do so respectfully and thoughtfully. Failure to do so may result in the removal of the comment, content, or user. Examples of disrespectful conduct that may result in removal include, but are not limited to:
- Inappropriate language and inappropriate or disturbing images
- Attacks and/or name-calling directed at individuals or organizations
- Comments that appear to be intended solely to stir up controversy, not promote dialogue
- Comments that appear to be SPAM or irrelevant to the content.
In the event a comment or user is removed, We Raise Foundation does not attempt to provide warning or explanation. We Raise Foundation is not responsible for any direct or indirect results or consequences of engaging with We Raise content.
