We Raise Foundation Announces Five Select Grants Supporting Education, Workforce Development, and Youth Programs
Itasca, IL—We Raise Foundation is pleased to announce the awarding of five new Select Grants to Christ-centered organizations creating opportunities for children, families, and individuals to flourish. Supporting initiatives in workforce development, education, youth mentorship, and family support, these grants invest in innovative programs that address local needs while sharing hope and building stronger communities. Made possible through the generosity of We Raise donors, the grants will help expand life-changing programs in California, Florida, and Texas.

The five new Select Grant recipients are:
Out of School Program
Voice of Hope, Dallas, TX
Voice of Hope Ministries is expanding opportunities for children in West Dallas through its Christ-centered out-of-school program, which provides academic support, leadership development, Bible-based character formation, and enriching activities in a safe, nurturing environment. Designed to support the whole child, the program helps students grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically while building confidence, resilience, and life skills. Through homework assistance, literacy support, STEM activities, mentorship, and community partnerships, children are encouraged to discover their God-given purpose and develop the knowledge, character, and hope needed to thrive in school, at home, and throughout their lives.
Restore Jobs Graduate Assistance Fund
Restore Merced, Merced, CA
Restore Merced is expanding pathways to employment through its social enterprise, which provides paid job training and supportive services for individuals facing barriers to work. Participants gain hands-on experience, develop marketable skills, and receive coaching that prepares them for long-term employment and financial stability. By combining workforce development with mentorship and personalized support, Restore Merced helps individuals build confidence, restore dignity, and create brighter futures for themselves and their families. The program reflects a holistic approach to economic mobility by addressing both immediate employment needs and the personal growth necessary for lasting success.
Camp Hope Horizon
Hope Horizon, East Palo Alto, CA
Camp Hope Horizon provides students from East Palo Alto and Belle Haven with six weeks of academic enrichment, mentorship, leadership development, and spiritual formation in a safe, supportive environment. Designed for children who have limited access to affordable summer opportunities, the program helps strengthen academic skills while fostering confidence, healthy relationships, and personal growth. Through engaging educational activities and Christ-centered mentorship, students are encouraged to discover their strengths, develop leadership skills, and return to school prepared for success. The program supports both academic achievement and the holistic development of children in underserved communities.
Regional Workforce Expansion Initiative
Christian HELP, Casselberry, FL
Christian HELP is expanding its workforce development services into under-resourced communities across Central Florida through a growing network of community-based Access Hubs. The initiative brings career coaching, employment readiness training, resume and interview preparation, job search assistance, and employer connections closer to the individuals and families who need them most. By removing barriers to employment and providing personalized support, Christian HELP helps job seekers secure meaningful work, increase household income, and achieve long-term economic stability. The program equips participants with the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to build stronger futures for themselves and their families.
Common Ground Clubs
Common Ground, Huntington Beach, CA
Common Ground Clubs create safe, welcoming spaces where middle and high school students from the Oak View neighborhood build meaningful relationships with caring mentors while growing in faith, leadership, and character. Through year-round mentoring, after-school programs, Bible studies, and community-building activities, students experience a sense of belonging and discover the gifts and purpose God has placed within them. By providing positive relationships and Christ-centered encouragement during the hours students are most vulnerable, Common Ground helps young people develop confidence, resilience, and life skills that prepare them to thrive at school, at home, and in their communities.
