We Raise Foundation Welcomes Mark Wimer to its Board of Directors
Itasca, IL—We Raise Foundation is pleased to announce that Mr. Mark Wimer has joined its board of directors for a three-year term starting January 1, 2025.

Wimer, CIFD, CFA, is an experienced institutional equity portfolio manager and investment management executive with broad experience managing multi-billion dollar global equity portfolios and growing an institutional asset manager from a very early stage to over $5 billion in assets under management.
Wimer has experience with brokerage oversight, fair value determination, and risk analysis across investments, operations, compliance, and technology. As a portfolio manager, he has presented to mutual fund boards and advised pension fund boards on asset allocation and selecting and monitoring external managers.
From 2008 until 2022, Wimer served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Strategic Global Advisors, LLC, where he managed non-US and global equity portfolios for institutional investors and communicated investment results to clients. He was an equity owner and leader/mentor for investment team members.
Wimer holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind., and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y.
