Fundraising in Communities of Color - We Raise Foundation

Fundraising in Communities of Color

 In

Our current fundraising climate is changing, becoming more diverse and differently positioned from established donors and donor engagement strategies. This webinar will provide tools for examining current and emerging trends influencing fundraising in communities of color and provide practical strategies to examine how organizations are structured and able to adapt to the current climate. In order to be purposeful and responsive to current opportunities to fundraise in and with communities of color, organizations must examine their institutional readiness to be present in communities in ways differently than they have in the current fundraising plans. This webinar will also provide insights in to where those spaces are in communities and offer some ways to consider accessing those spaces successfully.

What you will learn:

  • Emerging trends in philanthropy and communities of color
  • Development of organizational capacity to plan for and respond to diverse donors
  • Supporting a process for change in your organizations
  • How to conduct collective reflective practice and road mapping
