Grantee Partner Empowers Neighbors to Age with Confidence
After her husband David suffered a stroke, 74-year-old Maria felt her world collapse. David had always handled the bills, appointments, and daily details of life. Suddenly, with rising medical costs and reduced income, the couple needed more affordable housing. Maria had limited knowledge of available resources, didn’t use computers, and had no idea where to begin.
Their story is all too common. Nationwide, more than 17 million older adults struggle to meet basic needs like housing, health care, and nutrition.

Thanks to We Raise Foundation donors, neighbors like Maria are finding guidance, stability, and hope through AllThrive 365 in Phoenix, AZ—and through dedicated leaders like Erica Reyes, BSN, RN.
AllThrive 365, a Christian nonprofit, was recently awarded a $15,000 Emerging Leader Grant from We Raise. The grant supports the organization’s innovative Resource Navigator Program and invests in Reyes’ professional development as its project leader.
Reyes and her team walk alongside adults who are aging, living with disabilities, or caring for loved ones. They connect individuals with trusted resources for food, housing, transportation, health services, financial support, and more. Whether coordinating urgent assistance, offering education, or providing a simple weekly check-in, their work helps individuals of all ages across Arizona access the services they need to age with confidence.
For Reyes, this work is a calling shaped by her faith. “I strive to lead as Jesus led—with grace, mercy, and unconditional love,” she shares. “His example challenges me to see people fully, to serve with humility, and to value compassion over control.”
This Christ-centered leadership is at the heart of We Raise. By supporting emerging leaders like Reyes, donors are helping transform communities—equipping people like Maria and David to regain confidence, stability, and hope.
Reyes is deeply grateful. “This grant will help AllThrive 365 expand access to essential resources such as food and housing,” she says. “The investment in my leadership skills also gives me the opportunity to grow, so I can better guide our team and strengthen our ability to help Arizonans age with confidence. Thank you!”
For more than 50 years, AllThrive 365 has ensured people of every age, background, and circumstance have what they need to flourish. Today, its Resource Navigator Program continues that mission—making Arizona a safer, more supportive place to age and empowering neighbors to thrive year-round.
Thank you for making this work possible. Your generosity strengthens Christ-centered programs, uplifts emerging leaders, and brings hope to neighbors who might otherwise be overlooked.
